Thoroughbred U has a new assistant!  I’ve always wanted to bring more recipes and fashion to my followers but I don’t want to be on camera myself.  I’m asking for name ideas for this new plush horse.  It is not as hard as submitting to the Jockey Club but I’m hoping for something catchy and creative.  Please, share your ideas and enjoy the first recipe from our mystery chef.  Today we bring you, wassail.

The wassail is perfect for all occasions.
The wassail is perfect for all occasions.  Pour it into a thermos for early mornings at the barn or track.  Having a party or family gathering?  Add your favorite seltzer water to serve it as a mocktail  or rum for a cocktail.  This morning it was great for some quiet time while the third candle of the advent wreath was lit.
Time to kick bag and enjoy a mug of wassail.

Incidentally, six horses listed on Equibase have been named Wassail.  For the beginner American race fan,  you will find Equibase has a wealth of statistical information.  The website was produced from a partnership between the Thoroughbred Racing Associations of North America and the Jockey Club.  Check it out and do your own search on horses named WassailEquibase

After, you have researched some names for a while, suggest one for the new horse plush.  I am eager to see your ideas for future posts, although they won’t all be off this same style.  Check back for my continual coverage of my Thoroughbred adventures.  Thank you.
