The Wine Steward is wound up for the Belmont Stakes.

The Belmont Stakes is also known as The Run For The Carnations, The Test Of The Champions and The Third Jewel Of The Triple Crown but a new name is trending this year, Beltoga. That’s because the Belmont Stakes is a little different this year. The Belmont will not be raced at Belmont. Rather, for the first time, Saratoga Race Course will host the 2024 Belmont Stakes, while the Belmont track gets a remodel. Also, the race will be a bit shorter than usual, as Saratoga’s track is smaller. The 2024 edition’s length is 1 and 1/4 miles. Furthermore, it is a rare Belmont race to have the Kentucky Derby and Preakness winners both entered to face off. Believe in the buzz, this is a special Belmont!

The Grade I, $2 Million dollar Belmont Stakes for champion 3 year-old thoroughbreds, on dirt, is race 12 on a card of 14, posting at 6:41 PM ET. Ten colts are entered as follows by post position/horse/jockey/trainer/owner/morning-line odds/and finish in the Kentucky Derby and Preakness as applicable:

  1. Seize the Grey/Jaime Torres/D. Wayne Lukas/MyRacehorse/8-1/winner of the Preakness
