Held at Hallandale Beach, Florida’s Gulfstream Park, the Fountain of Youth Stakes has an amazing eighty year history of producing Triple Crown contenders. Last year’s Fountain of Youth winner, Dornoch, went on to race in the Kentucky Derby and win the Belmont Stakes! Dornoch took the Haskell Stakes as well. The 2025 edition is sure to be a big deal too. The dirt race is 1 and 1/16 miles. The Fountain of Youth posts as lucky race 13 on a card of 14 at 5:44 P.M. ET. This stakes race carries a purse of $415,000. Eight 3 year-old colts are entered with Burnham Square being gelded. 105 Kentucky Derby prep points will be divided among the first five to finish in respective order as 50-25-15-10-5 points.
