The long awaited 149th Longines Kentucky Oaks is ready to race! Friday, the field of fourteen filles will take to the track at Churchill Downs in Kentucky.

Held annually, since 1875, this race is the classic stakes for 3 year- old fillies. The purse is $1.25 million dollars. USA Network courtesy on NBC Sports will televise the event from 1 PM to 6 PM ET.

The final Kentucky Derby prep race is the Lexington Stakes in Lexington, KY. Saturday, 4/15/23, Keeneland will host the 41st running of the Stonestreet Lexington Stakes. It is the last chance to qualify for entry to the 149th Kentucky Derby.
