Prepare yourself for a racing schedule like no other. Keeneland is out to break records with their stakes racing this October, 2023. This track is starting with the highest purse for their meet ever, at over nine million dollars. Keeneland has 22 stakes on their calendar. Included is a concise list of the stakes schedule, so you don’t miss out on any of the action.

Keeneland Race Course in Lexington, KY is live this October 6th through 28th. Seventeen live days will feature full cards. Overall, ten stakes are dirt races while twelve will be held on the turf. The first three days of Keeneland is Fall Stars Weekend, featuring eleven stakes, valued at over five and a half million dollars. Eight stakes are “Win And You’re In” races for an automatic berth into the 40th Breeders’ Cup. The Breeders’ Cup is hosted by Santa Anita this November 3rd and 4th.

Live racing at Keeneland from October 2nd through 24th foreshadows the Breeders’ Cup set for November 6th and 7th at this very same racecource. The Keeneland Fall Meet begins today! To witness “Racing As It Was Meant To Be” look to Keeneland Race Track October 4th – 26th, 2019! First up, is Fall Stars Weekend. Keeneland will host 10 stakes over the three day weekend, 9 of which are “Win and You’re In” berths into next months, Breeders’ Cup World Championships. The purse for just this weekend alone is $3.95 million dollars.

Hooves are up and ready to race at Keeneland’s Fall Meet!  I checked in on the action at Keeneland’s main track yesterday morning.  There was an enormous feeling of anticipation as fans, staff, and connections gathered to watch Keeneland’s next contenders as they got in some prep work for the upcoming Fall Meet.  There is a large amount of talent, purse money, stakes races and Breeders’ Cup berth races at Keeneland, over the next month.  Racing begins Friday as Keeneland presents, Fall Stars Weekend.
