Two weeks after the Kentucky Oaks, Lemon Muffin is returning for the second leg of the filly Triple Crown. The George E. Mitchell Black-Eyed Susan Stakes races Friday. Lemon Muffin takes on seven other fillies May 17th, 2024.

On to part two of The Triple Crown, the 148th Preakness Stakes. The Grade I, $1.5 million dollar dirt race for 3 year-olds will race on Saturday, 5/20/23. Pimlico Racecourse, in Baltimore, MD will host lucky race 13 on a card of 14. The 1 and 3/16 mile race will post at 7:01 PM ET. CNBC will start televising the races at 1 PM ET and then turn to NBC at 4:40 PM ET until 7:30 PM ET. The winner of the Kentucky Derby, Mage, is entered so the possibility of a Triple Crown winner exists! The Run For The Black-Eyed Susans is a race not to miss.
