The Kentucky Derby leaderboard is bound to have some big changes over the course of the next three day’s events. Multiple races will award KY Derby points nationally and abroad. 170 points are up for grabs in the next 4 races on the Road to the KY Derby. The Risen Star alone offers 85 points as the first major jump in value. A win in the Risen Star will almost definitely secure a post in the KY Derby. The big rivals have been rounded up to race in the Risen Star!

The path to the 2019 Kentucky Derby is long and thrice branched but we have already raced the first lucky 13 preps. The leaderboard is stacked full of talent and many of these thoroughbreds have proven their skill in multiple races. With only one more prep race in America, on the 2018 calendar, this is the last chance for the contenders to show their star power as 2 years-old.
